    CLARKS SUMMITFive Allied Services employees recently received promotions.

    Laura Marion, RN, BSN, was announced as the new Director of Operations for Allied Services Hospice. She joined Allied Services Hospice in November 2016 as Director of Patient Services. Prior to joining Allied Services, Marion was employed by Traditional Hospice as a Marketing and In-Servicing RN.

    She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Scranton. From 2009 to 2011, she served as Nurse Manager of the University of Scranton’s Leahy Community Health and Family Center. She is a board member of the Foundation for Cancer Care in Scranton, former basketball player and now coach.

    She lives in Clarks Summit with her husband Michael and children Meghan, Clair, Michael and Will.

    Rebecca Rust, RN, BSN, was announced as a new case manager for the team at Allied Services Hospice. Rust brings 12 years experience in nursing, with more than eight years dedicated to hospice nursing at Celtic Hospice and Hospice of the Sacred Heart. She graduated from Penn State University, Worthington Campus, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

    Rust lives in Dalton and has 11 grandchildren.

    Travis Davis, M.H.A, N.H.A., was announced as the Director of the new Allied Services Palliative Care. The new program expands on the services and care offered through Allied Services Hospice by offering community based, specialized medical care for patients suffering from the symptoms and stress of life-altering illnesses.

    Davis received his undergraduate degree in finance from Saint Joseph’s University and graduate degree in healthcare administration from The University of Scranton. He is currently working towards a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Scranton. Davis joined Allied Services in 2014 as Director Business Development, bringing seven years of experience in financial operations and healthcare services.

    In addition to his responsibilities at Allied Services, he is involved in other community initiatives including serving on the community council of the Children’s Advocacy Center/NEPA and raising funds and awareness for various other community programs.

    Davis resides in Waverly with his wife, Lauren, and their son, Hayden.

    Melissa Kelleher RN, BSN, was announced as Director of Operations of Allied Services Home Health. Kelleher will oversee a staff who provide skilled nursing, medical social services and physical, occupational and speech therapy to patients in their own homes. Allied Services Home Health serves individuals across a 7 county area of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

    She joined Allied Services in 2013 as a Patient Care Supervisor. From 2014 to 2016, Kelleher served as Clinical Director of Quality, Compliance and Audits for Allied Services Home Health. Prior to joining Allied Services, she served as Director of Clinical Services at Asera Care Home Health.

    Kelleher earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bloomsburg University in 1996. She is a Certified OASIS Specialist, COS-C and a Home Care Coding Specialist, HCS-D. Kelleher was instrumental in the smooth transition of electronic health records at Allied Services Home Health.

    Kelleher resides in South Abington Township with her husband, Chris, and three sons Brandon, Matthew and Christopher.

    Stacey Perrins, B.A., was announced as the new Fiscal Assistant at the Vocational Services Division in Scranton. This division was the founding program at Allied Services and currently provides vocational training and employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities. In her new role, Perrins will support the accounting staff and assist in monitoring and enforcing regulations within the federal disability employment contracts.

    She joined Allied Services in 2014 as a Human Resources intern. In December of that year, Perrins became an Administrative Assistant in the Vocational Services Division.

    She earned a Bachelor in Business Administration from Misericordia University in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at Misericordia.

    A native of Dupont, she currently resides in Dalton.
