S. ABINGTON TWP. — The municipality’s maintenance department made sure area residents still had a place to walk their dogs, go for a jog or enjoy a leisurely stroll, just a few days after winter storm Stella dumped more than two feet of snow on the region. Park patrons Ron Miller, of Dalton, and Rich and Maria Fanning, of Clarks Summit, found Mike Owens, township maintenance, worker hard at work March 16, clearing the paved path at the recreational park behind the elementary school.
