S. ABINGTON TWP. — The South Abington Lions Club, in association with the Chinchilla Hose Company, hosted its annual Easter egg hunt for area children age 10 and under Saturday, March 26 at the recreation field at South Abington Park. There were plenty of treats scattered around the field for all and more prizes were given out following the hunt. Peter Cottontail made his annual appearance, arriving on a fire truck, to visit with the youngsters and pose for photos before signaling the start of the main attraction.
