N. ABINGTON TWP. — Keystone College students planted gladiola bulbs outside the Environmental Learning Center at Lackawanna State Park April 13.

Keystone College student Susan Slawinski, of Lansdale, helps plant flowers outside the Environmental Learning Center at Lackawanna State Park April 13. Slawinski is the recipient of an Academic Excellence Scholarship at Keystone, which is paying her full tuition. She is also a member of the Presidential Fellows Program at the college and a Wildlife Biology major.

From left, Maya Sanders, of Jersey City, N.J., Susan Slawinski from Lansdale, Angela Lambert, the Environmental Education Specialist at Lackawanna State Park, and Carmen Oakley, of Nicholson. Oakley is the president of the Twenty-One Plus Students (T.O.P.S.) Club at Keystone College. This club provided the funding for the gladiola bulbs this spring, as well as for the daffodil and hyacinth bulbs in the fall semester.
