S. ABINGTON TWP. — Clarks Summit University will host the LYFE Women’s Conference, a conference featuring nationally acclaimed speakers, over two weekends, June 1-3 and June 8-10.

Keynote Speaker Christie Lothamer will present this year’s theme, “(re)defined.”

A returning LYFE favorite, she offers a fresh and exciting approach to understanding the practicality of God’s Word. Her authenticity and passion are contagious and challenge audiences to live out everyday moments as true disciples of Jesus.

As a Clarks Summit University alumna, Lothamer, her husband Jeff and their three children live in Bicester, England, where they serve with Greater Europe Mission (GEM) to win, build and equip disciple makers in the church in the United Kingdom.

The conference begins Thursday evenings with a concert by RiSE, a traveling worship team of CSU students. 321 Improv will create a unique, interactive comedy experience at 8 p.m. Fridays. A variety of returning favorite speakers will present a dynamic selection of over more than a dozen workshops.

LYFE, which represents “Living Your Faith Every Day,” was established in 1983 to give women the opportunity to connect with one another and learn biblical truths. Organizers expect nearly 1,000 women to attend over two weekends.

The conference will be held on CSU’s scenic campus. Five meals, including a Friday-night banquet, are included. On-campus lodging and discounted rates at local hotels are available.
