CONWAY, S.C. — Artwork created by Clarks Summit native Sarah Richardson was displayed in the 2017 Senior Show at Coastal Carolina University’s Rebecca Randall Bryan art gallery April 26 through May 4.

The exhibition was Richardson’s final show at the university before graduation. She had 37 ceramic bowls with intricate patterns carved into them hung on the wall. When all the bowls are hung together, they make one mandala pattern. In this piece, Richardson used the mandala to represent the universe and connections not seen with the eye. Each bowl represents a different part of the universe and how people are independent on their own, just like each bowl, but when put together, they create a unified masterpiece.
