SCRANTON — Former President Bill Clinton will campaign for his wife, Hillary, on Thursday in Scranton.

Clinton, the 42nd president of the U.S., will appear at 5:15 p.m. at Scranton High School, 63 Mike Munchak Way. He is expected to discuss why he feels his wife is the best candidate for the job he held from 1993 to 2001. Doors open at 4:15 p.m. Those who plan to attend should RSVP at http://tlgets.me/jbb.

The campaign news release stated President Clinton will talk about his wife’s stance on issues such as “raising incomes for Pennsylvania families and breaking down the economic, social and racial barriers that hold Americans back.”

President Clinton will also visit Philadelphia on Thursday and will travel to Erie on Friday, April 8.

Hillary Clinton is running against Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination for the presidency. The Pennsylvania primary is April 26.

Hillary Clinton will campaign in Pennsylvania on Wednesday in Philadelphia, where she will attend the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO’s Convention and a roundtable at Impact Services Corporation with Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney.

Later, she will be in Pittsburgh to tour the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute and attend an organizing event.
