I attended the ceremony for the Vietnam memorial at the Lackawanna County Courthouse.

I thank Commissioner Patrick O’Malley for making sure that our heroes are not forgotten. It makes me happy to see that he took steps to ensure that our Vietnam veterans are enshrined at the courthouse, where heroes should be remembered.

This act of kindness defines Mr. O’Malley as a distinguished part of our community. It encourages us to never forget what the veterans of the past and our servicemen and women sacrifice to keep our freedoms.

Thank you, Commissioner O’Malley, for making this memorial possible.
