Boys and Girls Basketball Clinic, 3:30 to 5 p.m. beginning Oct. 8 and continuing every Thursday for six weeks at the Waverly Community House, 1115 N. Abington Road, Waverly. Keystone College baseball Third Annual ‘Ball Fore’ Golf Outing, Oct. 18 at Stonehedge Country Club, 287 German Hill Road, Factoryville. The four-person scramble format will include a golf, food at the turn, prizes and a steak dinner. Cost: $400 per team with funds benefiting the Keystone College baseball team. Inaugural Pitching with the Pros Camp, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 at the Sandlot Baseball Academy, 700 North South Road, Scranton. Fielding and Agility Camp, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 at the Sandlot Baseball Academy, 700 North South Road, Scranton. The camp, for children ages 7-13, will focus on fielding techniques for infielders and outfielders. It will also focus on agility and sliding. Cost: $75. Jack-O-Lantern 5K Walk/Run, Registration 8:45 a.m., race 9:30 a.m., Oct. 31 at Marywood University. Registration will take place in the Center for Athletics and Wellness. The college’s women’s lacrosse team is sponsoring the race. Cost: $15 includes a T-shirt. Pre-registration begins Oct. 17. Participants should dress in Halloween costumes, gift baskets will be given to the two best. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the St. Francis of Assisi Soup Kitchen in Scranton.
