Abington Heights downed Valley View, 139-35, in a Lackawanna League meet Jan. 14 in Archbald. Sam Jubon placed first in the 200 and 500 free, Ben Vale finished first in the 100 and 200 free, Brendan Conahan was first in the 100 back and 50 free, Charlie Gromelski placed first in the 100 breast and 100 fly and Carter Smith placed first in the diving competition. The Abington Heights 200 medley (Luke Gualtieri, Brooks Houck, Zachary Karabin, Jack Wasko), 200 free (Wasko, Thomas Clifton, Jubon, Gromelski) and 400 free (Jubon, Wasko, Conahan, Vale) also placed first for the Comets.

Scranton Prep defeated Scranton, 86-83, in a Lackawanna League meet Jan. 11 in Scranton. Conor McCall placed first in the 200 individual medley and 500 free, Joe Kyle Bushta finished first in the 50 free, Nico Lastauskas was first in the 100 breast and 100 fly, and Thomas Pfaeffle placed first in the 100 back. Scranton Prep also played first in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay events.

Lady Cougars edge Lady Comets
Valley View defeated Abington Heights, 94-91, in a Lackawanna League meet Jan. 14 in Archbald. Margorie Myers placed first in the 200 and 500 free, Leah Byman finished first in the 50 free and Sydney Dana was first in the diving competition. The Lady Comets 400 free relay team (April Sokalsky, Myers, Laura Hartman, Byman) also placed first.
Classics top Lady Knights
Scranton Prep downed Scranton, 99-70, in a Lackawanna League meet Jan. 11 in Scranton. Peyton McNulty placed first in the 100 and 200 free, Cat Donlon finished first in the 200 individual medley and 100 back, Audrey Campo was first in the 50 free and 100 breast, and Lauren Lanzendorfer placed first in the 500 free. The Classics also finished first in the 200 medley, 200 free and 400 free relay events.
