Abington Heights diver captures District 2 Class 3A boys championship

Abington Heights senior diver Colin Florey repeated as the District 2 Class 3A champion during the boys diving competition Saturday afternoon at the Wilkes-Barre CYC.

    WILKES-BARRE — Abington Heights senior Colin Florey placed first in the District 2 Class 3A boys diving championships with a score of 418.10 Saturday afternoon at the Wilkes-Barre CYC. Junior Julian Medina finished fifth with a score of 318.80, freshman Carter Smith placed sixth with a score of 318.25 and senior Cameron Cleary was 10th with a score of 271.15.

    In the girls Class 2A competition, Abington Heights’ junior Sydney Dana placed fifth with a score of 368.75, junior Natalie Kozar finished 12th with a score of 283. 55 and junior Karley Feather was 14th with a score of 189.00.
