LEWISBURG — Several Scranton Prep swimmers earned medals during the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Class 2A Swimming and Diving Championships, March 17-19, at Bucknell University.

Clarks Summit resident Nico Lastauskas was awarded a seventh place medal in the boys 200-yard individual medley and a sixth place medal in the boys 500-yard freestyle.

Clarks Summit’s Audrey Campo earned a sixth place medal in the 100-yard breaststroke. Campo teamed with Peyton McNulty, Cat Donlon and Lauren Lanzendorfer to claim a fifth place medal in the girls 200-yard medley relay. She also teamed with McNulty, Lanzendorfer and Donlon to earn a sixth place medal in the 200-yard free relay.

Other Scranton Prep boys swimmers who competed at the state championships included Thomas Pfaeffle (18th in the 100-yard butterfly) and Joe Kyle Bushta (22nd in the 50-yard freestyle). Lastauskas, Michael Durr, Pfaeffle and Bushta also teamed to finish 14th in the 200-yard free relay.

In other girls swimming competitions, Donlon placed 28th in the 100-yard butterfly and 19th in the 200-yard freestyle. Campo finished 12th in the 50-yard freestyle. McNulty placed 11th in the 100-yard backstroke and and 26th in the 200 individual medley.

Abington Heights’ Colin Florey placed 17th in the PIAA Class 3A boys diving competition.
