CLARKS SUMMIT — The Abington Gators, a member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Age Group Swim League, recognized the club’s athletes during a awards banquet on April 23 at the Ramada Clarks Summit.

The boys team placed first in the B division with a 5-0 record while the girls team finished second in the B division with a 3-2 record. Throughout the 2015-16 swim season, the Abington Gators’ 14 and under swimmers had 55 1st place races, for a total of 220 points.

On April 23, the Abington Gators honored seven graduating “seniors” from the team: Lucy Earl, Taylor Evans, Peyton Gualtieri, Noelle Ruane, Kyra Sladicki, Jarred Ocwieja and Jack Wasko.

The Abington Gators consist of swimmers, ages 6 to 14, and operates within Abington Heights High School.
