Winning pitcher Noah McCarty also hit a home run in Abington American’s win against West Scranton for the District 17 10-11 year-old title Friday, July 15. The final score was 13-10.
Brodie Robertson and Brendan Lynott each added two singles and a double for Abington. Brett Miller had a double and home run, Vince Rinaldi and Matt Maskal each had two singles, and Daniel Flynn had a double for West Scranton.
Abington American advances to the Section 5 tournament, July 21-25.
