CLARKS SUMMIT — The Abington Heights varsity girls lacrosse team was defeated by Wyoming Area, 9-4, in Wyoming Valley Conference play April 3. It was the first-ever game for the Lady Comets program.
Sophomore Brennan Tates scored two goals for the Lady Comets. Junior Abby Brown added a goal and an assist, senior Emily Marquardt scored a goal and junior Kaila Steenback had an assist.
Abington Heights will travel to play Delaware Valley at 5 p.m. April 6.
