LA PLUME — Joseph Ambrose has been named Keystone College’s first-ever women’s golf head coach, according to an announcement by Dr. Matthew Grimaldi, Director of Athletics.

Ambrose brings nearly two decades of professional golf coaching to the Giants’ newest varsity program. He has also spent the last 10 years as the head coach of Kutztown University’s women’s bowling program.

Women’s golf was recently added as Keystone’s 21st varsity sport and will begin competition in the 2017-18 year.

An experienced golf instructor, Ambrose has been the head golf professional at Paupack Hills in Greentown since September 2012 where he has developed programs to instruct players of all levels.

Ambrose graduated as a PGA Professional Class A from the PGA/PGM Professional Golf Management Program in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
