Abington defeated Moscow, 9-1, to win the District 11 Prep American Legion championship on Saturday, July 16 in Covington Township. Winning pitcher Gabe Pietryka allowed two hits and struck out three batters. Ben Kubic had three hits, including a double, Pietryka had two hits and Jacob Anderson had a double for Abington. Bodie LaCoe, John Deibert, Louis Natale, and Corey Able added singles for Abington.
