The Abington Heights School District has launched a new website at www.ahsd.org. The creation of the new site was a team effort between Keystone College students and Abington Heights employees. The result of the collaboration produced a new and improved website that is easy to navigate and introduces links to Twitter and Facebook. The creative development process offered real world experience for the Keystone students, who plan to seek careers in the internet technology (IT) field.
Robert Norton received his IT Associate Degree and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from Keystone College. He is employed with an independent web company as a software developer.
Cody Shadle is a member of the Keystone College Class of 2013, and Andrew Intartaglio is a member of the Class of 2014. They will, also, hold IT degrees upon graduation.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Thomas Quinn remarked, "The project to redesign our District website began with a board of education vision and evolved through a remarkable collaborative effort between Keystone College and Abington Heights. We are very proud of the new website, and very pleased with the vision, technical knowledge and dedication of Robert, Cody and Andrew."
