Cavaliers improve to 3-0

Scranton Prep ripped Mid Valley, 41-7, Saturday afternoon to improve to 3-0 on the high school football season.

The Cavaliers joined seven other Lackawanna Football Conference teams, including four of their Division 1 rivals, with perfect starts.

Abington Heights, Delaware Valley, Scranton and Valley View are also 3-0 in Division 1 while Division 2 member Dunmore and Division 3 teams Old Forge and Lackawanna Trail have matched them.

Northwest shut out winless Holy Cross, 41-0, in another game.
