In recognition of 100 years of 4-H in Pennsylvania, the Lackawanna County 4-H is looking for 4-H members, alumni, leaders, and parents to recant how 4-H influenced their lives.

The Extension’s goal is to compile at least 100 stories of how 4-H has influenced lives in Lackawanna County and then turn the essays into a booklet. Photos may be included, but are not required. Everyone who sends in a story will receive a free copy of the booklet.

The stories, which should be 100 words or less, can be mailed to the Penn State Extension Office, 200 Adams Avenue, Lower Level, Scranton, PA, 18503, emailed to, or faxed to 963.6853.

For further information, contact the Extension office at 963.6842.
