NEPA Flames Girl’s Travel Team ends season with 19-9 winning record

The NEPA Flames Girl’s Travel Team played at Hoop Battle at King of Prussia May 2 and 3. The team played its first game against the sixth grade CES from Philadelphia and won, 30-12. Then they played against Maddogs from Philadelphia and lost, 43-42. Last, i played Lightning from Wilkes-Barre and lost, 44-34.

The Flames played in the Mother’s Day Shootout at Misericordia University May 8 and 9. The first game was against Spirit from Northeast and the Flames won, 38-9. The second game was against The Wyoming Valley Barons and they lost, 30-25.

The Flames then competed at the Pizza Hut Mid Atlantic Championship at Manheim at Spooky Nook Sports Center May 16 and 17. The team won its first game against In the Zone from Bath, 29-18. The team also won its second game against The Ballyhoo Crew Shenanigans from York, 28-4. It then lost its final game against the Panthers from Philadelphia, 33-26.

The team achieved an overall winning record of 19-9 to end their season.
