Editor:

People are out there with their signs, posters and bull horns, telling the congress people and senators how we voted them in and we can vote them out.

Some of the elected officials are not even holding town meetings, not even pretending to listen to “their constituents,” and the ones that are, are just standing there, giving the people lip service, and going back to Harrisburg and/or Washington and doing what special interest groups are paying them to do.

The press is having a field day with all of this sensationalism.

So what?

Put away your bull horns, your posters, and signs. Go home, because, you know, I know, and more importantly, our elected officials know, that we will re-elect the same people to the same job they have always done – or not done – and we will expect different results.

Isn’t that what they call “the definition of stupidity?” But yet that is what we do, time after time after time.

It is time to stop the nonsense. You have gotten your picture on the news, now go home and re-elect the same people in the next election. Do you really think they worry about being voted out? Putting the same people back in is what we have done for the last 100 years. Why do you think they become so rich?
