LA PLUME — In celebration of National Poetry Month, The Keystone College Concert and Lecture Series will present poet Wendy Xu from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7 in Evans Hall in Hibbard Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Xu, author of “You Are Not Dead” (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2013), was profiled by Poets & Writers Magazine as one of the year’s best poets.

Her most recent work is “Naturalism,” from Brooklyn Arts Press. In 2014, she was awarded a Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation. Her poetry has appeared in The Best American Poetry, Boston Review, Poetry, jubilat, Guernica, Denver Quarterly, Gulf Coast, among other publications. Born in Shandong, China, she currently lives and teaches in Brooklyn, New York.
