Trey Koehler scored a game-high 16 points to help Abington Heights defeat Valley View, 72-28, in a Lackawanna League Division 1 game Jan. 4 in South Abington Township. George Tinsley added 14, Seth Maxwell added 13 and Jackson Danzig had 10 for the Comets.

Lions hold off Foresters

Travis Ankoff scored a game-high 13 points to help Lackawanna Trail defeat Forest City, 56-37, in a Lackawanna League Division 4 game Jan. 6 in Forest City.

Comets top Warriors

George Tinsley scored a team-high 16 points to help Abington Heights defeat Delaware Valley, 66-39, in a Lackawanna League game Jan. 7 in Matamoras. Jackson Danzig scored 15, Seth Maxwell added 14 and Trey Koehler had 11 for the Comets.

Hannah Kowalski scored a game-high nine points to help Abington Heights defeat Valley View, 53-20, in a Lackawanna League Division 1 game Jan. 3 in Archbald. Alessia Brunori and Olivia Baker each added eight for the Lady Comets.

Lady Comets down Lady Warriors

Hannah Kowalski scored a game-high 10 points to help Abington Heights defeat Delaware Valley in a Lackawanna League game Jan. 6 in South Abington Township.

Lady Eagles edge Lady Lions

Despite a game-high 16 points from Lexie Kwiatkowski, Mountain View defeated Lackawanna Trail, 35-34, in a Lackawanna League Division 4 game Jan. 9 in Clinton Township. Cali Fauquier added six points for Trail.

Warriors clip Comets

Delaware Valley defeated Abington Heights, 108-75, in a Lackawanna League meet Jan. 5 in Matamoras. Carter Smith placed first in the diving competition, Ben Vale finished first in the 100-yard butterfly and the team of Jarred Ocwieja, Shane Cummings, Chris Suh and Josh Przekop was first in the 200-yard free relay for the Comets.

Lady Warriors too much for Lady Comets

Delaware Valley defeated Abington Heights, 117-68, in a Lackawanna League meet Jan. 5 in Matamoras. Leah Byman placed first in the 50-yard freestyle and Elizabeth Rembecki finished first in the 100-yard freestyle for the Lady Comets.

Invaders top Comets

West Scranton defeated Abington Heights, 61-12, in a Lackawanna League Division 1 match Jan. 4 in Scranton. Chris Langan (160 lbs.) won by a 6-2 decision, Adam Wellard (195) won by a 6-3 decision and Logan Hivner (285) won by pin for Abington Heights.

Cougars down Lions

Valley View defeated Lackawanna Trail, 69-12, in a Lackawanna League Division 2 match Jan. 4 in Clinton Township. Cullen Ratchford (113 lbs.) and Justin Ganser (120) won by pin for the Lions.

Lions hold off Eagles

Lackawanna Trail defeated Mountain View, 45-27, in a Lackawanna League Division 2 match Jan. 4 in Clinton Township. Cullen Ratchford (113 lbs.), Robbie Davis (195) and Carter Crook (220) won by forfeit; Justin Ganser (120) by decision; and Tyler Baltrusaitis (132), Cody Moyle (152), Colin Mulhern (170) and Jacob Brim (182) won by pin for the Lions.
